9.1 sound problems

Finaly i managed to install my favorite german linux BUT....

It recognised my sound card perfectly,but when the sound service starts i hear klicking and noise all the time it runs.
It works,sounds an all of it , but with this noise in foreground.

Did anyone had similar problem?

For using Linux it is no big deal.
But i am a Skype user so i need my sound card working perfect.

Please help.

That would seem to indicate just a mixer problem. Open kmix from within KDE and start by turning off some of the switches until you no longer hear that extraneous noise.
