10.1 Yast2 installation Sources Failing to update

Hi

today i check my Suse Server and am unable to add change or remove repositories/sources.

Once loaded yast2 Sources available are the 10.1 DVD.

if i add new sources or delete the DVD source and hit Apply

20-30minutes pass before Yast2 exits .
After which i load Install sources again and nothing has changed

Any chance of editing the Yast2 sources file manually?

Hi, I had the same problem with my suse 10.1. Luckily, before ripping it out and going back to 10.0, I found this:

Basically, the zen-updater, in fact the whole zmd gadget is preventing yast from working the way we came to expect. The link I posted discusses the problem, and has a link to a page with an excellent and easy to follow workaround.
