Think I'm gonna hold off on this one.I just paid for the 9.1 version not long ago.I've got the 9.2 ftp dvd free version also.after what I read about the multimedia I'll pass.maybe version 10 will be better.
That of course is your call...but the updated packages to re-enable multimedia are already on the Yast ftp for 9.3. Simple as updating the packages now.
There was nothing for Novell/SuSE to fix or update. The reviewer was incorrect in his ranting. The multimedia packages were available all along. He just didn't look in the right place.
