MX record for a subdomain


Hi all,
I have problem regarding public subdomain delegation
i have created an A record for subzone in BIND on a machine running Solaris10 Sparc to point to another machine running win2k3 as follows
sub.domain.tld and www.sub.domain.tld now i want to add an MX record for mail routing for the win2k3 machine do i need to set up DNS server for the win2k3 if so how can i configure the records for the subzone on win2k3 machine

Thanks for your reply , thanks for your helping soul and excuse me for my lame description.
I have created an A record for a subzone to point to another IP ( machine running win2k3 ) for example sub.domain.tld and www.sub.domain.tld records are written in BIND on a machine running Solaris10 .
Now i want to add an MX record for this sub.domain.tld for mail routing to the win2k3 machine.
Here's my query .
1- Do i need to setup a DNS server on the win2k3 machine to host the MX recods for the sub domain , if so how can i do this task,that's all .
BTW i'm no english speaker , so please pardon me .
And thanks again for your patience .

The MX record doesn't need to be on the target machine, it just needs to point to it.

You should be able to add subdomain MX records to you existing DNS. How this looks will depend on the form your current zone files take. Can you post the zone file for domain.tld?
