Mounting a USB Pendrive Solaris 10

I would like to be able to read and write to my usb pendrive using solaris 10 (if possible). The usb drive has a single vfat partition,
with linux this drive is recognised as /dev/sda1 and I can make an appropriate entry in fstab.

I'm still new to Solaris, I believe that vfat partitions can be mounted
using pcfs option in vfstab.

If anyone can give me an outline or an example /etc/vfstab I would be grateful. First question though is how do I identify the usb drive in solaris 10?
Thanks in advance.

You do not need a vfstab entry, just plug in your usb device, and it will be automatically mounted, assuming you didn't disable the automounter.

To find out under what name the filesystem is mounted, use the "df -k" command. You'll find something like "/rmdisk/<disk_name>".

Thank you, this works just as described and also an Icon appears on the desktop (if you are using Sun's Java Desktop). To unmount I right the icon and eject, job done!
