Question issues compiling samba 3.6.6 on Solaris10 x86 system

Hi,

I'm having issues compiling samba 3.6.6 on Solaris10 x86 system.

configure command goes fine but gmake fails with tdb_jenkins_hash symbol reference. I have attached my configure command and the error here.

Can you please help on how to resolve this ASAP.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
- Phanee

Hi phanee,

What type of hardware are you using and have you (permission/root access)- access to the Global zone?

Probably you could download binary packages of samba.

www.sunfreeware.com
www.opencsw.org

has lots of packages.
