Installing 2 versions of solaris in same box

Hi
As I would like to know that whether it is possible to install and keep two versions of Solaris in the same SPARC/I386 architecture, like windows 2000/windows 2003 in Microsoft. If it is possible than what are the steps to do the same.

Yes, you can do it. A supported way is by using live upgrade, but I usually just install the different releases on their slices then edit the grub boot menu.
In all cases, you need to give each O/S its own slice.

Here are documents describing the live upgrade process:

Everything is on the links I posted which I encourage you to read.

I'm assuming you expect a cookbook like procedure. Here is one: http://ropiku.wordpress.com/2007/02/...upgrade-howto/
Although it is about different Solaris versions (Solaris Express build 55b and build 56) than the ones you want (Solaris 9 and Solaris 10), this should work the same.

Don't forget to layout your slices the same way as the example when installing Solaris 9.
