Question LINUX on Solaris sparc BOX ?


May be I'm totally newbie

I have Solaris ULTRA5 BOX, I need to install Redhatt LINUX on it.
If it's possible please provide me the necessary guidance, related links would be highly appreciated.

The last version of Redhat they made that was also ported to Sparc that I know of was version 6.2. Try a search, I'm sure you could find more information about it or maybe a download.

Your are talking about Version Redhat LINUX 9 right ? But they are not listed on their Hardware Compatibility List

Or do I missing something...

Theres the link to the latest RedHat sparc version on RedHat's ftp archive... you might want to find a mirror closer to you to download it though. You can probably find a list of mirrors somewhere on RedHat's site.
