I solved this problem early next day after posting this thread. BTW, thanks for your response.
I had gone throw Unix arena method but they were using script. I did not want to use the same.
So, I used following method to create the local repo.
I created mnt point for ISO image as following:
#mount -F hsfs /Package/sol-11_3-repo-full.iso /mnt
then set the publisher name:
#pkg set-publisher -G '*' -g /mnt/repo solaris
then verifying the publisher:
#pkg publisher
Output of aforementioned command:
root@KanG:/mnt# pkg publisher
PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS P LOCATION
solaris origin online F file:///mnt/repo/
Using this method, I successfully done my job of updating the Solaris to 11.3.
However use of G will delete other repository if any present on server. So, use it accordingly.
