Xorgconfig w/ KDE

Well I'm able to get into Xorgconfig and set up my settings but when i startx and log into KDE my mouse or keyboard do not work. I have the microsoft intellimouse w/ scroll and the natural keyboard.. I've tried different settings but none seem to work can anyone help or has anyone had similar problems?

update on progress...

I got the keyboard to finally work.. And i can somewhat control kde with keyboard, but I am still have problems with my mouse.

I have a usb microsoft intellimouse with scroll and optic eye.

I've tried imps/2, bus, intellimouse, auto, microsoft, explorer. Does anyone have any suggestions, know matter what i try in "xorgconfig" with the mouse i get no movement out of it in slack.

sorry all got it all takin care of.. there is a great howto post if you search for the intellimouse on slackware obviously i didn't to a good search in the begining

but you must use imps/2
and have your device as "/dev/input/mice"
