X and Gnome error after boot

ok boyz i ve just tried to setup slackware. i did it perfectly and clearly, but when i try to boot it goes only on text mode. if i do telinit 3 it blocks and this is the result:

Quote:
Starting up X11...
/usr/bin/gdm-binary: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-X11-2.0.so.0 cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
after it slack doesn't work and i have to open another shell by Alt+F6. i tried also using KDE but the result is the same, it doesn't find another KDE library. startx never functions: it doesn't exist...i think i have windowsed slack, i tried to reinstall it many times but all times it gives that error.....help me pls!

I'm not sure I understand the question, but a standard slackware installation defaults to runlevel 3. That provides a multi-user environment without X.
First you must configure the X server, then test the server, then you can permanently change the default runlevel from 3 to 4 in /etc/inittab (if you want).
Also, what installation method did you use? If you want to be safe, I would select installing everything. Alternatively, you could try looking in /etc/ld.so.conf to see if the gnome libraries are there.
