I torrented the Slackware ISO file, and I used it in the VirtualBox and it ran perfectly, the command-line came up and all, and i did what it told me, and it took me a while with the partitions, but I don't think I did it right. I did the setup, but I had to reply on the help and descriptions... And I finally installed it, but after a few flashing screens filled with "Installing... *Input Software here*" I saw a LOT of "Not enough space on hard disk" or whatever, but it installed okay, or so it said. It asked me for more settings, it gave me 3 options, Simple, Expert, and Skip... Apparently Skip also meant Expert or Simple because it went forward, and I tried using Cancel but apparently that also means Ok because it didn't go back, it went forward, and then I reboot, and BOOM! Everything was gone I still had my partitions assigned, but I had to go back to setup and everything, so that's when I started to stop. Any help?

Slackware uses a text installer - somewhat old-school if you've used Ubuntu or some of the other graphical installers before. In a broad overview, you boot to the Slackware DVD, log in as root (no password), then run cfdisk to create your partitions, typically you'll need three partitions, / which is root and you need to mark it bootable, a swap partition, and /home, but you can create more partitions once you're familiar with the process. make sure to "write" your changes to disk before exiting cfdisk. Then run "setup" to install.
I second bskunix recommendation of familiarizing yourself with the process in the slackbook first.
