First boot i get: SYSLINUX 2.06 Boot Failed?


After install i get, "SYSLINUX 2.06 2003-08-22 Boot Failed" I hit enter and it says it again. Last time i installed chose superblock instead of mbr and i was getting nothing on boot, now im getting this. grr!! slack 10.2!

what hardware are you installing to?
what kernel are you choosing?

vmware workstation 5, basic kernel (i believe i specified to use the kernel that was on the install cd)
