xmp build problems - please help

Hello!
Yesterday i remember my young days, tracker music, and foun a xmp player for linux. download latest libxmp, xmp, compile and install libxmp, and try to ./configure in xmp folder, but got:

checking for a BSD-compatible install... /bin/ginstall -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for a thread-safe mkdir -p... /bin/mkdir -p
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking for style of include used by make... GNU
checking whether make supports nested variables... yes
checking how to create a pax tar archive... gnutar
checking dependency style of gcc... gcc3
checking dependency style of g++... gcc3
checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for libxmp... no
configure: error: Package requirements (libxmp >= 4.1) were not met:

No package 'libxmp' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables libxmp_CFLAGS
and libxmp_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

libxmp 4.2.5 is installed:

/usr/local/lib
libxmp.so.4.2.5 :41│
│ │ libxmp.so │ 9 14:36│
│ │ libxmp.so.4 │ 5 2013│
│ │ /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig │ 2 19:24│
│ │ libxmp.pc
system is slackware64 14.0 with multilibs installed.
dont understand, why script not see libxmp?
even after "ldconfig" and reboot...

Hi,

You need to configure libxmp-4.2.5 with:

Code:
./configure --libdir=/usr/lib64
