Red face XFree86 Dependencies

Sounds fairly simple eh? Well, i must have missed that oh so important document containing every dependency needed. What I'm asking is as follows:

XFree86 4.3 Source Build/Install requires what dependencies?

I've looked all around for this answer and still haven't found a complete list. I'll know a complete list when I see that there is libpng and something else, one that I'm forgetting, is on it.

My system as is:
Slackware 9.1 Base Install, with a few things excluded like CUPS and other non-essential things.
Upgraded to a custom kernel (2.4.22).

Guess thats all thats really needed. Heh.

Side question, what are the opinions, if any, on XFree 4.3.99.15?

Thanks in Advance.

Yes, I am aware of the location of libpng. But thanks for the heads up. What else should be installed?

1) Automake
2) Autoconf
3) m4
4) GCC + G++
5) Perl
6) glibc
7) libpng

Any others to have a full build/install without errors due to deps?

I ask only because I am trying to build a minimal distro. I want NONE of the bloat/unneeded 'crap' on my system
