winesetuptk


I have winesetuptk installed on my slackware 10.0 I am able to get through te configuration script and create the fake windows drive. How can I get the wine desktop launched and possibly configure it so I can check my outlook express from slackware 10.0, ? I would reeally appreciate the help. I also want ot be able to run regedit and notepad

wine desktop?
wine dosent have an interface, you use it like

wine outlook.exe
wine notepad.exe

appdb.winehq.com will help

When the command wine notepad.exe I get the message "command not found" how could I frix this?

you did install wine?

winesetuptk is just a configuration tool

once you get wine working you have to put the full path the program: wine /home/user/linux.exe or whatever. It works for me this way.

This e version o wine that I am trying to run /Wine-20040813-i686-S10. I do cd to get into the directory. I have already done the tar command.I try and run ./tools/wineinstall and and than I get "command not found". I try and run ./config and I get the same thing? I would appreciate the help I am running slackware 10.0

wine

When I am running "winelauncher" I am geting the messsage that winesetup cannot be found on my system how could i correct this? I tried using the sample config included with wine and putting it in opt/wine/bin but it didnot slove the problem
