Who has the "Slackware Essentials" book?

This may be a dumb question. Ok, it IS a dumb question.

Is the book here: http://www.slackware.com/book/

The exact same as the book you buy from here: http://store.slackware.com/cgi-bin/s...E5meM&mv_pc=80

They are both titled as "Slackware Essentials" and thats why this is a dumb question, but, I had a problem beleiving they would post a book on their web site and provide a link to the same book for 19.95 or whatever it is. I know they do the same with the software, but...

Is the online "book" the same as this book? I thought they were different. I really would like a good updated book on slackware 9.1, even maybe one which goes into kernel 2.6.x stuff. The online "book" is not updated and not the greatest of books IMO.

Try slackbook.yoshiwara.org.uk or www.sysdev.org/book/ for the "Unofficial Slackware Revised Book Project."

Have fun!

Both books are similar. One is printed on real paper, while the other is all electronic...

Actually, "Slackware Essentials" is exactly what it says: the essential, most basic information you can get on Slackware. It's good and very useful for beginners. I bought it because I want to help the Slackware distribution...
