Which Drivers do i pick?

Hey guys searched the forum and couldn't see this question before (probably because it is so noobish) but i am on Slack 10 with Xorg 6.7 i think (can't even find the command to display the version).
My question is....I own a Radeon 9200 and when i go to the ATI site to download a driver, they only show Xfree versions next to the drivers. Do i just download the latest Xfree RPM or is there specific drivers for Xorg.

Thanks in advance guys

slack 10 should allready come with a suitable driver for radeon's.

edit your xorg.conf file in /etc/X11, find the device section for your video card and change the driver to 'radeon'. that works for me and im using a radeon igp320 (mobile radeon 7000).

if your d/l the ati drivers for the 3d acceleration, then you wanna d/l the drivers for xorg 4.3, however ati drivers can be a reall bit%$ to install, (their is a HOW-TO on the forums somewhere) but if you just need the drivers for adequate display, then i would say use the one's that come slackware 10 as acascianelli said.
