OT: Since november I'm getting hardware not supported by Slackware 14.1. Right now I'm installing -current on a client's HP Pentium laptop, because Slackware 14.1 won't run on it. So 14.2 will be more than welcome here.

Out of curiosity, which parts of hardware are not supported by 14.1?

If it's logged via IP address, then changing your IP address would allow for multiple votes from multiple machines, not counting cellular phones, public IPs, and such. If it was registered voting then yeah fewer issues. If MAC ID + IP + Account, then it's harder to spoof votes.
However, without public logs...
Reaper, so in other words, Lennart is popping around public wifi faster than Santa on Norad. http://www.noradsanta.org/

I see that we are also looking forward to Monpezat has Bergerac
@Reaper, apparently I didn't make myself clear. I'm somewhat less concerned with the padding of votes since that is an issue, as you pointed out, that is much harder to control or even see. It is the LOSS of votes that has my head swimming. How can that happen was my question in a previous post, and perhaps more importantly, how can that happen legitimately? .

Yesterday, Patrick Volkerding had 910 votes. Today, he's got 858 left, which means he lost 52 votes over night. Did Lennart Poettering write your website's poll code?
