vlc skins missing

Updating Alien Bob's stuff after my recent move to current. One that wasn't painless is vlc (2.2.6 =>3.0.3)
Code:
VLC media player 3.0.3 Vetinari (revision 3.0.2-225-gc9e3360dd4)
[00000000024fd010] main libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface.
[000000000260fab0] skins2 interface error: cannot instantiate dialogs provider
[000000000260fab0] [cli] lua interface: Listening on host "*console".
VLC media player 3.0.3 Vetinari
Command Line Interface initialized. Type `help' for help.
> libva info: VA-API version 1.2.0
libva info: va_getDriverName() returns 0
libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib64/dri/i965_drv_video.so
libva info: Found init function __vaDriverInit_1_2
libva info: va_openDriver() returns 0
[00007fa100c2a5e0] avcodec decoder: Using Intel i965 driver for Intel(R) Ivybridge Mobile - 2.2.0 for hardware decoding
I gather it wants me to install skins? Where do I get them?

Alien Bob's vlc >= 3.x depends on qt5-webkit (and its dependencies): be sure to have all of them installed.

You can get skins here. If you search on the term "VLC skins," your favorite search engine will also come up with other sites that offer VLC skins.

The error has nothing to do with skins.
The OP should install qt5, qt5-webkit, libxkbcommon next to my vlc-3.x package, because VLC 3.x uses Qt5 for its GUI whereas VLC 2.x used Qt 4.x. This is documented all over the place.

Sorry, the OP has had his butt in bed for the last 5 months battling for health (Lost that one) and sanity (Scraped through there) and hasn't read much.
