User Agent Switcher for Sea Monkey

I'm trying to make these instructions work so I'll have the Slack logo.

I'm following these instructions here in this link.

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...15#post5634315

I've changed the string twice and it's still not working.

This is what I had-
Code:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 SeaMonkey/2.40
I changed it to:
Code:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 SeaMonkey/2.40 Slackware64/14.2
I tested it and checked here:
http://chrispederick.com/work/user-a...features/test/

Any ideas?

Let's see if it works using the following user.js:
Code:
user_pref("general.useragent.override", "Slackware/Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 SeaMonkey/2.40");

Testing to see if it works-

Nope, still didn't work.

Under Tool> Default User Agent> it's still set to Default User Agent but I can see the correct string in the list.

Selecting the correct string still doesn't make the Slack logo appear.

Puzzeling:-

Not sure what's going on.
I'm selecting general user.agent.override pasting the old string and when asked I'm typing in the new........
