Question Unable to mount CIFS. Error: Unable to apply new capability set.

With one of the recent upgrades (util-linux?) I've lot the ability to mount my SaMBa server shares as CIFS volumes. The error message is: "Unable to apply new capability set."

I can connect to the shares using smbclient.

This is a new one on me. Any help toward tracking this down will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Stu...

I'm assuming you're on -current? If so, it looks like the same issue as this thread. They were able to fix it by downgrading libcap-ng to 0.8 or applying this patch to cifs-utils.
