Try to configure ClamAv for several days

Hello, for a few days, I have been trying to configure Clamav, I have followed the clamav documentation but I cannot get it to work. I get an error and I have to configure the clamd.conf file, and that of milter. I installed clamav from the source of alien, I can provide all console returns without problem!

Please consider installing clamav from SBo.

Is there any reason why?

Because whatever clamav distro package you grabbed to convert with alien is compiled for that distro and not for Slackware. The SBo package is compiled for Slackware. Slackware has conversion tools such as rpm2tgz, but conversions from one distro to another often fail because of different dependencies.
