Thunderbird crashes when LC_ALL=zh_*

Hello,

Since Slackware 12.0, Thunderbird 2.x and Firefox 2.x crashes on startup when LC_ALL is set to any of zh_*.

I have reported this many times, yet it's never been fixed ... Now Slackware has Firefox 3.x, but Thunderbird still suffers from this bug.

Can anyone else confirm this, or is it specific to my laptops and office computers?

Regards.
