Pat, to show all of the text you have to make the buffer bigger with the following

text_buffer_size 1024


for the window width I cheat and use this

default_bar_size 350 2

Why not? The current one is here, the same old workhorse, 13.37 x86, kde 4.6.5, stock 2.6.37 kernel.

I'm using Xfce4, it's a very good window manager.
KDE 4 doesn't run very well on my machine, it's too monstrous
I did a background to lilo with same image.

The first desktop of my dual monitor setup: XFCE without panel but with glx dock. The second desktop is void of all elements other than a suitable wallpaper...

The image is for my Let's Play of Final Fantasy VI. Also I do have window titles and controls, but only for the active window.
