su root

Is there a way to change the 'root' user to another name?
How about forcing myself to 'su NEW_ROOT_USERNAME' ?

Is this possible?

Doesn't "su new-name" only provide access to anyother users account provided you have the password?

You can change the 'root' name like you want, I would think the name of an user is the human part, the computer read the user uid instead (0 for root)
