Some programs are not working in one slackware machine but in another one. plz help!
Hello dudes.
Guess who is with a brand new problem. lol . ok let me explain my problem. I using slackware as my server. I did a full install except kde international thingy, and games. My server pc specs:-
Some of the programs like xchat and some other programs are not working. They are not even loading. But i did the same full install in my vmware virtual machine, but all the programs work properly. Any thoughts guys. I am going to upgrade the harddisk. So i am going install everything again. But i want all the programs to work properly. I installed slackware 10 using the iso images in vmware. And i used cd s to install it in my server. Thanks in advance. cheers
If you know it of the top of your head just use that,
e.g., ldd /path/to/my/borked/file
if you don't
which <name> will give you the location.
ldd `which <name>` will do exactly that, return the
fully qualified path to the executable and run ldd
against that one ...
