Oh Noooooo. I made a terrible mistake. This thread was actually created on the 5th July 2002, not 2003. I missed its 20th birthday.

I guess the good news is that in just over a month, it will be the thread’s 21st birthday. It can legally have that beer in the US!

It’s quite possible!

I really should probably try Slack again. It will be good to use a distro that avoids Systemd.

Your location says Northern Territory, does that mean you’re in AU too?

I always come back to Slackware in my wanderings. Simple, robust, secure. You can't beat Slackware.

In Au suggests I've been buried, which, at least as I write, wouldn't be correct.

What would be correct is I'm in the middle of the dry season, roaming the top end.
