Try to replace hhhhhtttttpppppp: with http:

Also try to add additional source directories.

BTW. I'm not used to slapt-get so I might be wrong. I run swaret.

24. How do I specify proxy settings?

slapt-get takes advantage of the normal http_proxy and ftp_proxy shell
variables. Here are some examples:

# setting the env variables for the entire session
$ export http_proxy=http://host:port
$ export ftp_proxy=ftp://host:port
# just setting them for the current command invocation
$ http_proxy=http://host:port slapt-get --update

If you are using ~/.netrc, libcurl automatically picks up your preferences.
See the netrc(5) manpage for more information.
To make set the proxy variables permanently, define them in /etc/profile or per user on his home folder with .profile

No, you've to set them, they're enviroment values like PATH.
You can add a line in /etc/profile with: export http_proxy=http://host:port and other with export ftp_proxy=ftp://host:port
Or just call slapt-get as stated there: http_proxy=http://host:port slapt-get --update
(you've to type that on the command-line, like you do when you type slapt-get --update)
