hi to all!I am using Slackware 9.1 and when I command as root

slapt-get --update
Retrieving package data [ftp://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch/mirror...slackware-9.1/]...Failed to download: the username and/or the password are incorrect
Retrieving patch list [ftp://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch/mirror...slackware-9.1/]...Failed to download: the username and/or the password are incorrect
Retrieving checksum list [ftp://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch/mirror...slackware-9.1/]...Failed to download: the username and/or the password are incorrect

slapt-get problems...

well,

have you tried using a different site?

you can choose among many by editing /etc/slapt-getrc file.

for now, try putting a comment "#" in front of the line which says:

SOURCE=ftp://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch/mirror/slackware/slackware-9.1/

go down to the bottom section of the file and uncomment another site to use...ibiblio comes to mind.

save the file and the run "slapt-get --update" again.

if your errors are duplicated then something else is the matter.
