I just sent the following email off to Pat and the Slackware store, thought I would share it with the rest of the LOYAL Slackware users here,
Hello,
I wanted to recommend a new Slackware PC/Laptop badge to be sold in the Slackware Store, please see my link below for the badge I have in mind. It was discussed quite a bit at LQ in this thread: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...laptop-937297/
I'm not sure if Slackware Inc. is getting any of the proceeds from those badges sold on eBay; could there be a trademark infringement?
Also, another idea that I have would be to allow Slackware user to purchase a username@Slackware.com email address if that is possible. I think it would be a great way to generate some additional revenue for Pat and the Store?
Just wanted to throw these ideas out there. I would love to see Pat and the store make us much income as possible.
A loyal Slackware user since 2003!!
What do you Loyal Slackers think?

I like it, both the sticker and the email ideas. Additionally I'd suggest introducing some official Slackware mugs (but please not using that fancy font.)
Your ideas (definitely the intentions) are good. I support the first idea. Cannot imagine why he turned down the sticker/badge idea but I had thought the email idea would be rejected. Usually when we get @company.com id, it means we are part of the company or project (paid or not). Otherwise the domain would be a service provider (for emails like gmail, yahoo). In Slackware's case neither hold.
May I suggest my ideas :-p
1. How about Live CD/DVD from -current branch? The stable CD/DVDs once published are there for a year or more. Live CDs can be fresh every six or even four months and serve a different purpose. May be even a Live USB!
Things I would not likely buy in the near future, but some others could:
Flash USB.
Keyrings.
Enterprise level technical support (ha,ha,ha, this is a joke).
As of domain name for e-mail accounts... it would not be such a bad idea if the name was better chosen. @slackware.com seems made for developers or something. Maybe @slacker.com is a better choice.
I'll admit, I was a bit disheartened with the response from Pat but should not have been. Slackware is his "baby" and he can raise it any way that he wishes.
For the email account I was thinking along the lines of "user@slackers.slackware.com"
I'm, just trying to think of some ways that we can get some goodies that we would like to have for ourselves and generate some income for Pat and the Dev team. I for one would like to see some of the Devs get some $$$ for their time and efforts for helping Pat put out an awesome Distro.
I like the ideas for additional revenue-generators, but based on my recent experience there, the store could focus a little more on simple customer support.
I ordered a tshirt and the Slack book. Three weeks later, I have received neither. I've received 2 emails from the store-keepers, both responses to my inquiries about what was going on with my order. Turns out the book is out of stock. Well, that's fine, but why not mention that on the store's site? Why wait for me to ask why it seems to be taking a really long time to process an order? On Friday, I finally asked them to cancel my order for the book and just send the tshirt. Haven't received a reply for that one yet.
This isn't meant as a complaint, exactly - I'm slightly annoyed, not reddit-enraged, and after all I bought the stuff to help the cause and neither item is something mission critical. But my point is that there seem to be some issues with the items they already have, as well as some lack of support for sales inquiries, etc, so perhaps adding more goods isn't the immediate problem to solve.
I have been messing with CrunchBang this past weekend and really like it. The only reason why I mention this here is that I checked out thier store, http://www.cafepress.com/crunchbanglinux
They have some really nice products and they are using cafepress, anytime I have used cafepress in the past, I never had any issues.
Just my 2 cents...

I'd like some black golf shirts with the traditional logo in white, and some little branding spiel...
S L A C K W A R E
linux://power/grace/lagom
or some such...
I do like to Polo's that the Slackware Store has but I am having a hard time on pulling the trigger on a shirt for $55 USD. Currently on disability right now and $$ is tight. I do where my blue and black Slackware t-shirts all the time as we as the ball cap.
