Slackware on an AWS instance?

I've been using Slackware for our production servers for about 8 years, and it has worked great for us. We use it for web and application servers. We are in the process of migrating to an AWS instance instead of locally hosted servers.

Has anyone installed Slackware on an AWS instance? If so 1) how did you go about doing it and 2) how well did it work?

Were you able to get your system to work using those instructions? I have tried a few times and keep running into issues and badly need to upgrade what I've got running right now.
