Slackware-current rc.sshd

Looks like rsa1 is no longer supported:
Code:
Generating public/private rsa1 key pair.
Saving key "/etc/ssh/ssh_host_key" failed: unknown or unsupported key type
So
Code:
  if [ ! -r /etc/ssh/ssh_host_key ]; then
    /usr/bin/ssh-keygen -t rsa1 -f /etc/ssh/ssh_host_key -N ''
  fi
Is no longer needed.

Cheers

Is there any particular reason it generates them all individually rather than just doing a 'ssh-keygen -A'?

I heard on one of the Linux podcasts I listen to, but can't remember which one, that the latest ssh releases have dropped support for a number of options which the maintainers decided were obsolete, though they can be retroactively compiled in if you insist.

Perhaps the release notes will help:

Primarily because the output looks better that way.
