Slackware 9.1 to 10 - Xorg?

I've upgraded from Slackware 9.1 to 10, and am experiencing problems with
Xorg.
My monitor is a HP v72, which under 9.1 ran with 1024 x 768 resolution and a
vrefresh of 85.

After the Slackware 10 install its now running at 1024 x 768, but with a max
vrefresh of only 60. I've looked at xorg.conf. How do I set the refresh to
85.?

What I did was re run xorgconfig as a non root user and set up the refresh rates properly (look on the HP site for the correct vsync/hsync thingmejigs) and then copy of the right section of ~/xorgconfig

If you still have problems, feel free to post back :)

XF86Config -> xorg.conf

Simply rename /etc/X11/XF86Config to /etc/X11/xorg.conf !

As you were using slackware before, the file is the same !
If using mdk for example, which uses a font server, the fontlines in the file are different.

But from 9.1 to 10.0 (Slack), the files are the same
Worked fine for me, even with Nvidia (Last driver 6106)

Cheers
Fred
