slackware 9.0 everything segfaulting


i installed slackware 2 times and both times i was working on it fine for a couple days and then all of a sudden everything segfaults and the system crashes any idea why it would do this?

How old is your hard drive? Have you recently added extra memory?

the hard drive is from 1998 fujitsu 3gb

no new memory either

I wonder if your hd is failing.

I've just been to Fujitsu's site - they are no help. Try Googling for your hard drive model to see if it's a common problem.

it probably is failing ive been using it since 98 lol im gonna install on a new hard drive and see if it does the same thing
