Slackware 9.0 + Air Snort


I am having problems getting air snort installed for slackware 9. I run the ./autogen.sh script and i get a bunch of warnnings.

WARNING: using aux files such as 'acconfig.h', 'config.h.bot'


WARNING: 'AC_DEFINE_UNQUOTED' allowsto define a template without
WARNING: 'acconfig.h':

there are more error messages, but they are the same as what i listed above....

Any ideas ??

Ok i am almost positive i need the gtk+-devel package installed. But i cant seem to find it anywhere for slack.....i can only find RPM's. Can someone please help me to get gtk+-devel installed.

anyone have any luck getting air snort installed under slack9 or know of any other sites i could go to for help?
