Question slackware 14.1 64 bits compiz emerald not working

Hello,

I'm trying to get compiz to work on my slackbox 64 bits. I made it work with my 32 bits machine though...

When I run the command "compiz --replace" I get one line output, which is "Segmentation fault". Then I loose the panel and the windows end up loosing their borders...

Other than installing compiz and emerald with all deps of course, is there anything I need more? I installed the haskell packages alongside with PyOpenGL, my graphics card is onboard. When I run the following command "glxinfo | grep OpenGL", I do not see extensions, but if I run this command "glxinfo" and scroll up, I see alot of extensions installed... Am I missing something?

Anyone can help?

Thanks,
Dumdadum

Try
Code:
glxinfo | grep direct
I believe in addition to "starting" compiz you need to also somehow call emerald.
I recommend looking at the configuration GUI and looking at what emerald's settings should be. Also, I assume you used slackbuilds to install compiz/emerald? If not, all the deps are listed at slackbuilds.org
