Slack 12

Hi,
I installed the tvtime-1.0.1-i486-1.tgz version of tvtime and can't get any sound.
My sound system works on everything else with Slack.
I also have Debian, and Suse on the same box and the TV card and Tvtime work perfectly on the other OSs.
I have a very low level of knowledge of Sack (1 week use) and have probably not set something up right.
I poked around in the internet and didn't run across my problem.
Any ideas?

i know a workaround that i used on slackware when i had a TV card, i took a jumper and went from audio out on my TV card to audio in on my sound card, yo umay not want to fix it this way if sound on the TV card works for other distros, have you looked at alsamixer to see if something is muted and volumes turned down?

Ya saved me again Okie.
I feel kinda stupid now, but all I had to do was mute the line jack in alsamixer.
