Slack 11 Installation DVD not seen?

I got a slack 11 DVD and installed test26 fine
on one PC with IDE disks. In fact I was suprised that
apparently it works without me having to add
additional modules.
Now I have another PC with 2 scsi disks and one IDE/SATA. I did try to install slack 11 before
but unsucessfully, because apparently the modules were
missing from the 3 CDs I got from a friend,
so the mouse would misbehave.
That installation stands though and I want to overwrite
The problem is I stick the DVD in, choose the BIOS boot order to be a)CD/DVD, 2) floppy, 3) scsi 4) ide
and expect to boot from the DVD, but instead it takes me to lilo and does not give the a chance to boot from
the DVD. Clearly not a slack issu, but what should I do to get past this problem?

you could have used huge26.s kernel insted of test26.s.
there are no modules for test26.s kernels in the cd setsit is a construction problem !!!

dont worry u can now install huge kernel as an alternate one and install modules also make initrid.
here we go http://rkrishna.tp.googlepages.com/slackerbasics#alt

once everything started working you can compile your own kernel

Try to temorarily disable your hard drives and check if you can boot the dvd then.
