Everyone is against war (except those who profit from a conflict). However this seems to be a conflict between western clans of the rich and powerful against the eastern clans of the rich and powerful. I know that everyone gets pounded by the propaganda by those clans. But regular folks, both in the west and east (and everywhere else) have no stake in this, unless they are the victims of these power games, like in this case the Ukrainian civilians/soldiers and Russian soldiers.
"geoip block russia." is only affecting regular people in Russia who also don't want war, and has no positive effect at all. It would also be a move by regular folks against regular folks, who did not wanted or started this war.
I whole heartedly concur with everything you posted.
Putin's great red firewall is already depriving regular russians of the first w in www: we don't need to give it any help.
Please allow me to rephrase: just block putin's ips... or get his macids blocked on his local routers. This works with most children: my zombie killing zombies, I mean, boys, think the internet is like water and air--inalienable rights... block their devices, and the lawn gets mowed.
On the other hand, my boys don't have nukes. Putin has a suitcase with everything he needs to launch; maybe taking away his internet is bad idea...

https://xkcd.com/898/ might be applicable here. Or maybe not, depends on how his suitcase was designed and how effective his propaganda is.
Because you know your history and you remember what eventually happened to the last dictator who tried. It's a pity the modern dictator stopped reading part way through the executive summary.

The last "dictator" to try this was Joseph Stalin.
Between 1945 and 1953, there were bloody battles in Ukraine between the Soviet army and Ukrainian nationalists.
In those battles more than 300,000 Ukrainian nationalists died, the losses of the Soviets are unknown but certainly greater, Joseph Stalin won and practically the second world war in Europe ended in 1953.
There are lesser-known parts of history, which you cannot find in Western history books.
