Show desktop in Slackware14

I cannot seem to figure out how to minimize all windows and show desktop in KDE in Slackware14. Otherwise the system is working very well and fully updated with slackpkg.

I checked on Google and tried control-alt-D but it does not work. I also could not find any way to add show desktop button to panel (that would be an ideal solution). There is also no option in 'standard keyboard shortcuts' of system-settings. Please help.

You can set it from the Global Shortcut in System Settings. In the KDE components, select KWin. Then search for "Show Desktop".

Hi, you really need to re-check it. There is "Show Desktop" plasmoid widget and it also has keyboard shortcut option in it's configuration window.

EDIT:
Just use "drag and drop" to add it to the panel.

@haeri and parcox: Thanks to both of you. I could both create a keyboard shortcut and add the widget to the panel using drag and drop method. I am marking this thread as solved.
