Question about build script repo ?

Hi all,

From a long time I want to ask a question about build scripts.
Is there a complete repo (without google.com) where a user can search for build script package ?
Of course the build scripts have their owners and licenses (if some one want to live with this f. idea) for example search for libreoffice and result will be something similar : AlienBOB URL to site. Something like this.

Currently when I want some package I start searching on slackbuild.org, then on AlienBOB repo, then on Conraid repo and few others not so rich of build scripts and eventually if the wanted package is not found start building it which some times take a lot's of time.

How you ppl looking for a package ?

In few months ago some one post dce tree but it's not working anymore.

I don't known something center like that existed.
I think slackbuild is the largest repo follow by alienbob
for some obscure package, i will build it myself or source some inspiration from AUR

I guess you can take a look at AUR and tried to adapt their build script to match your need.

The big center for SlackBuild scripts is slackbuilds.org. It is fully possible to publish SlackBuild scripts anywhere else like github, but there is no such thing as complete index of all those unofficial SlackBuild scripts out there. If there were such an index, everyone publishing an SlackBuild script would be required to register their script in that index. Most people choosing to publish their script somewhere else than slackbuilds.org would probably not choose to register their script in such an index.
