Pulseaudio server crash restart?

I decided to install 14.2 beta and give it a go to see how things are shaping up. It is flawless as usual, I have only run into one problem. Occasionally the pulseaudio server will crash and I have no sound. According to pauvcontrol it says the server is attempting to restart but it never does and I am forced to reboot my machine to get sound back. Does anyone know how to fix the pulseaudio sound server without a reboot if it crashes?

Have a look at this to generate a log and see if it explains why it is crashing.

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log (it might need some minor tweaking to work with Slackware... I'm not familiar enough with Slack's implementation to know for sure)

I have used pulseaudio for a while, in previous versions it was common pulseaudio crashed, but with version 7.x I have not had these problems.

To restart pulseaudio you must kill the process, then pulseaudio automatically reload the service, but sometimes it not restart properly. Then you can run manually:

Code:
pulseaudio --start --log-target=syslog

Well I feel dumb, I was causing the crash by deleting the contents of the /tmp directory while the system was running.
