No, this isn't meant as flame bait. What Pulseaudio control panel do you recommend? In particular, I want to be able to easily switch between my USB sound card and my onboard sound card.
If you're wondering where my interest in Pulseaudio is coming from, it's this. I'm currently using a USB DAC with no mic input. However, I also want to use a headset to chat with my friends over Skype while we play Torchlight 2. A headset is a headphone and a mic, and the mic part needs a mic input to plug into. With my setup, that would mean the mic input in my motherboard's onboard sound card. So I want to use Pulseaudio to switch to my onboard soundcard for the gaming sessions and to the USB sound card for everything else.

and off course PavuControl what depends
1.1-libsigc++
1.2-glibmm
1.3-cairomm
1.4-pangomm
1.5-atkmm
1.6-gtkmm (if you add inside pavucontrol.SlackBuild) --disable-gtk3
or
1.7-gtkmm3 (if you dont modify anything, auto use gtk3)
Works fine.
