Hi,i'm actually a newbie to Linux world. So,i would really appreciate if someone can assist me,is it suitable for Prospero to be install using Slackwae platform and what kernel can be used?
Currently i'm doing my research on cluster using Prospero distributed operating system.
Can you enlighten us more what prospero really is? If it is an operating system, it should be running on it's own. If it's a filesystem, then you should check filesystem support when configuring a linux kernel.
Prospero (file system), a global file system based on the Virtual System Model, and the protocol used to implement the file system. Some browsers include support to access Prospero file system files using URL-like constructs.
. . .
Prospero (protocol), a directory protocol utilized by archie servers and clients in later years.
. . .
Is it one of those? -- please reply.
BTW, neither one has a valid Wikipedia article, yet.
