Problem with the FAM daemon - Nautilus will not update

I have been using Slackware 9.1 upgraded to Current for a long time now. I am also using the very latest release of Dropline GNOME. My problem is, that if I for example unzip a file using the integrated feature in Nautilus, I have to refresh manually to get the contents of the zipped folder in my window. Every time I do some changes to the directory structure, the manager must be updated manually.

This is quite annyoing. As far as I know, FAMD deals with this sort of things. FAMD is installed, and called from inetd.conf. Do you have a possible solution?

Where is your Nautilus from? The official Nautilus from Slackware doesn't have fam support, I think. Check if your Nautilus is from Slackware-current or if it's really from Dropline Gnome.
