pcmcia network card
setting up slackware on a toshiba laptop, but the netgear NIC cant be seen by the system.
pcmcia is running
it should be getting an IP address through DHCP, but nothing comes up in ifconfig. When I try to set an IP address manually, i get the forllowing error message:
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Device or resource busy
I've been using Redhat and Mandrake for years, but this is my first try at Slackware.
