Angry Oracle Instant Client Install


Has anyone managed to intsall Oracle's intsant client?

When trting to install the base rom file I get a segmentation fault.

e.g.

rpm -ivh oracle-instantclient-basic-10.1.0.2-1.i386.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
Segmentation fault

I found same problem installing db2... seems rpm buggers itself up occasionally, try upgrading to rpm 4.2.1
