openssl and openssl-solibs packages need corrections

There may be some litle changes or corrections needed to the package buildscrits
of the two packages of openssl and openssl-solibs.

While rebuilding them for some testing purpose i found that the two libraries :
/lib64/libcrypto.so.1.1
/lib64/libssl.so.1.1
are both in the two packages at the same time, and can't think of that this is
the intendet function.

The /etc/ssl/ is also contained in the two packages at the same time , so
i think one could remove one package out of the distro or correct the build
scripts.

thanks

When openssl was added to disk set n/ (year 2000), a smaller runtime package of shared libraries was added to a/. No need to install the whole openssl to just run binaries linked to openssl. It doesn't seem so important to you because the disk space is cheap now.

It's the same thing with packages glibc and aaa_glibc-solibs.

And aaa_libraries is a collection of shared libraries from other packages. (aaa_terminfo is a subset of terminfo files from the ncurses package.)

There is no problem having the same files in two installed packages.

Thanks for the answer - but i do really use Slackware since SLS goes down,
and i do really have used the Disk sets - but that is not the question.

If i want to separate two packages for some purpose than there should be a
really difference between them.

Maybe put the bins only into the second package ...

While i rebuild the ffmpeg package at this moment - i wish we have split off
the samba package into two pieces - one libs only and one with the rest ...

have fun
