What is the easiest way to do this? I installed slack 9.1 from ISO on cd, and now i want to upgrade to 10.2. I haven't set up my cd burner yet, so it needs to be done without a cd. A step-by-step walkthrough would be greatly appreciated. (remember: newbie, minimal UNIX experiance, little to none Linux experiance)
you can see the UPGRADE.TXT file on the first CD of Slack 10.2 which contains instructions to upgrade your Slackware into 10.2, but since you are using 9.0, perhaps it would be best to re-install it using 10.2. It's faster dan can reduce so many problems that you might encounter if you want the hard way (upgrading all the packages and reconfigure it again)
